Emergency Notifications
Before an emergency, you can subscribe to services making it easier to be notified of an emergency. And during emergency events, it may be important for you to stay informed of developments. Below are the communication channels used by Civil Defence on the West Coast.
Our Facebook page will be a key place for us to publish informative messaging and educational bits from time to time, but it will also be used during emergency events to help us communicate both ways with the public. We will be using this medium to get information out to you during the event, as well as to capture anecdotally what is happening in our communities to help us in decision making.
